Graze box anyone??

Well hello there lovely reader!

I’ve been sent discount codes for ‘Graze’ for as long as I can remember, often popping up in online purchases I’ve made. I’ve never really given them much thought, other than thinking ‘ooh they look nice’, but never getting any further than that. However, after recently being given the opportunity to try a sharing box I can say I’m a total convert! I love how you can have them as regularly as you want them, not being pressured into a crazy subscription routine. I love how you can choose what goes into your box by selecting your faves from the website. I love how easy the site is to use. And finally, I love all the offers they give you! I’ve got a cheeky code for any of you that fancy trying the Graze box and you can get your first Graze box for free! (and your 5th and 10th if you choose to continue). Here it is:

I just wish I had discovered Graze a bit sooner!

So are any of you regular Graze users? Any recommendations you can make? Let me know if you try the box too!

Until next time…

I’ve only gone and posted on youtube…

I’ve only gone and done a MASSIVE thing (well, a massive thing for me anyway).

I’ve only gone and posted a video on youtube!

I’ve been thinking about it for a while since starting this blog. But I never thought I would do it. I’m quiet, I’m shy, I care about what people think of me. I know I shouldn’t, but I do. And now I’ve gone and put myself out there for the world to see. Fluffy hair and all.

If you fancy looking at the video here is the link:

Any opinions?

I’m not sure if I will post any more on there. Will just have to see how brave I’m feeling! And I guess how well the video goes down on there. That’s unless I decide to delete it because I’m too embarrassed eek!

Sorry for being more rambly than usual…

Until next time…

how blummin marvellous!

I love ice cream.

It is official.

And I’ve always been a Ben & Jerry’s kind of girl.

That is, until I discovered this bad boy…

Good old Cadbury’s have come up trumps.

Building upon the original marvellous creations chocolate bar, the ice cream comes in 4 wacky flavours –

jelly popping candy, zingy raspberry chocolate brownie, fairground candy crunch, and salted caramel and sour cherry.

I must say, my faves have to be the jelly popping candy (pictured) and the fairground candy crunch. They’re fab for sharing, or even keeping to yourself (its so easy to eat the whole tub!). I found the raspberry one a bit too zingy and the salted caramel a bit too much.

So have you tried any of the flavours? Which is your fave? Let me know!

Until next time…

stop comparing!!

Ok, so I am officially the worst person in the world for doing this.

Yes, I just caps locked a whole sentence. But sometimes you just have to.

I think, as girls, we all do it. Some of us more than others, but it happens to us all from time to time.

It might be that you catch someones pictures on Facebook or Instagram and think “she’s so pretty, I wish I was that pretty”. Or it might be a bikini snap of a friend on holiday and you have complete body envy. Maybe you see someone you went to school with whose life seems to be going so amazingly, and you think about your own life and its not quite going the way you were hoping it would. I think its a natural thing to do as human beings. But if its happening all the time, its really not healthy. It means you’re too busy worrying about the things you’re not happy with, instead of getting out there and enjoying yourself with the people who love you for who you are.

I came across this quote one day when I was stuck in a “I wish my life was like theirs” kind of mood…

And I think its all too easy to look at someone and their life and think it is always like that. We don’t know what happens to people “behind the scenes” as they keep it covered up. Just like we do.

So lets all try and think happy thoughts, and stop comparing ourselves to others quite so much. Lets live our own lives, and be happy that everyone else is doing the same too.

Until next time…

lets get jazzy for spring

I don’t know about you, but I am so excited for Spring! whilst I love so many aspects of Autumn and Winter, I’m just craving warm, sunny days which cheer me up no end. Plus I’m loving the change of fashion, how I can get out of my over-sized chunky knits and wear more fitted, pretty clothes.

And here is one item i’m loving…

It’s a cute waterfall jacket come blazer from Boohoo. I wore it the other night on a date night with my boy.

Unfortunately its no longer on the website as I got it a few months back and its not been warm enough to wear it, but there are plenty of other pretty jackets and blazers on there. I love the waterfall style of it and how nicely it falls.

I just love the colours on this one, and how versatile its going to be. My other half told me I looked like a leopard who had gone a bit mad with the Dulux paints, but I’m used to not listening to his fashion advice after 10 years!

What do you think? Have you got any clothes you can’t wait to wear this Spring/Summer? Let me know!

Until next time…

so I’m kinda getting married…

So whilst I’ve not been blogging, a life changing event happened to me…I GOT ENGAGED!!!!!!!! For anyone that knows me, this has been a long time coming and I’m so blummin excited! I’ve been with my fiance (still super weird to say that) for 10 years this year, so we aren’t exactly rushing into it. But the time is totally right for us. I’m in total planning mode at the moment and can’t stop buying wedding magazines and spending half my life on Pinterest (any excuse eh??) I also was given this very lovely planner by my momma from Paperchase. Too scared to write in it yet though!! wedding books I thought I might post a few wedding-type blogs, what do people think of that? Maybe some inspiration for anyone else looking for wedding ideas in the same boat as me? And can any of you married folk ofter a very excited bride to be any advice?? Until next time… xxx

go on and take a bow…

I’m currently loving cute hair accessories. I think I’m dreaming of lovely warm weather and having cute summer waves and keep picturing pretty bows in my hair. That is why I recently picked up these little beauties from the very lovely Miss Mae Makes. You all know I’m a sucker for a Facebook page, and this one doesn’t disappoint. These are the ones I chose…

miss mae makes bows

Aren’t they just the cutest? I originally was just going for the bigger ones in a range of fabrics I liked. But once I saw the smaller ones in a sale on the page I couldn’t resist! Can’t wait to wear them 🙂

Do you like them? Are you into hair accessories? Let me know what you think!

Until next time…

snuggle up and make a statement…

I’m back!

I don’t know about you, but I’m currently loving an over-sized snuggly jumper. With the British weather being as shoddy as it is currently is, I just want to be warm and cosy inside with a cute jumper and a yummy hot chocolate. At a bit of a sparkle and you’re on to a winner. I’m also still loving statement necklaces. they’re so versatile! Thrown over a simple tee, a chunky jumper or jazzed up on a night out, they work in so many ways. So I decided to combine 2 of my faves and this was the result…

Do you like? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Until next time…

P.s. The jumper is from the M&S limited collection sale bought before Christmas and the necklace is from the very lovely Ruby and Reg x

Fishtail braid

A couple of months ago, I finally mastered the fishtail braid woohoo! I’d seen it everywhere and loved the look of it but didn’t have the foggiest how to do it! So I was determined to find out how. If you’re a regular reader of my blog you know I am a teeny bit obsessed with Instagram. I follow a fab account on there called @daily_braid which gives lots of tutorials of how to do pretty braids and plaits! I watched a short clip of the lovely Ashley doing a quick tutorial and then had a go myself. The result was the pic above! I was quite impressed with my attempt, however it must have been beginners luck because it’s never looked as good since! My layered hair usually pops out all over the place, but that doesn’t stop me having a cute fishtail every now and again 🙂

So have you ever attempted a fish tail? Got any tips for making it look fab? Feel free to comment below 🙂

Until next time…

Red and White Love Hearts Micro Satchel

imageSo this little beauty arrived this morning…isn’t it just the cutest?? After taking advantage of a sale on the Zatchels website a few months back I couldn’t wait for this to arrive! At the time of ordering I was told it would take at least 30 days got the bag to arrive. This is because all of the bags are made from scratch using real leather. Whilst it’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be (literally the same size as my hand – the reason for the random pic!), I can’t wait to start using it! Perfect for those few essentials, and totally in love with the print 🙂

So what do you think? Have you got a Zatchel bag? Comment below!
